Today is #GivingTuesday, the day you can join with people across the country to support the causes that matter to you. All of the causes you hear from today rely on a strong civil society to do their work, in which our rights to speak up, organize, and protest are protected. At BORDC/DDF we work tirelessly to protect those rights.

These rights will be severely tested in the coming months and years, and we need your support so we can stay loud, and stay strong to safeguard the rights and liberties of our most vulnerable neighbors, and everyone.

• Our campaign to restrict FBI and DHS surveillance and harassment of political activists and their relentless monitoring of Muslim communities;
• Our local ordinance campaign to help local coalitions pass laws to protect against surveillance, and discriminatory policing and safeguard privacy rights, free speech, and freedom of religion in thier hometowns;
• Our anti-Islamophobia work, which includes anti-oppression training and education about, and advocacy against, government programs that criminalize Islam and encourage Islamophobia;
