March 11, 2024Mountain Valley Pipeline v. Moore
(Source: Wikimedia)
In 2023, Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) opened a lawsuit against named protesters John Does, Appalachians Against Pipelines, and Rising Tide. The pipeline asked for an injunction against protest and $4 million in damages. Contained in this project are (some) court filings for the case. Exhibits submitted by the representative of the pipeline company include photographs of the protests.
The case has progressed since these documents were obtained. Rising Tide has been dropped from the lawsuit. Contact the Montgomery County, VA court for ongoing updates.
